With Citra Pivot, you can create advanced pivot tables in Java/Swing and integrate them with your current Java applications. Pivot tables can be created from OLAP Servers conforming to the XML/A specification, but also from two dimensional data, that reside in memory. Features include typical OLAP operations, such as sorting, filtering, slice and dice, drill up/down/through, grand totals, subtotals, visual totals, top/bottom operations, empty cell hiding, axis swapping. Any number of hierarchies can be pivoted programmatically or visually by drag n’ drop. The table’s appearance can be easily customized by using different colors and fonts for each cell. Context sensitive popup menus also exist for every cell in the table.
The library is optimized for low memory consumption and high performance. Moreover, Citra Pivot is based on Java/Swing, and more specifically on JTable, which makes it easy to learn and integrate into current Swing applications. The API is simple to follow, comprehensive, entirely documented with Javadoc.
While there are a lot of pivot table frameworks in the market, Citra Pivot is the ONLY one that is based on Java/Swing, extending the Swing grid component, JTable.
It is intended for company software development departments wishing to use a pivot table component in Java/Swing, and integrate it with their current applications.
